is for hot tea. I had no idea. I just had the idea of making up a hot "Thai iced tea". I was nearly successful; it tasted fine but this particular tea [new to me!] needed to steep longer, especially if it was gonna go up against sweetened condensed milk.

Last weekend we cooked a bunch. This recently has been leaving me with little energy, come Monday, to share the awesomeness that the cookery was. Alas.

There was a second batch of smitten sesame wings [which are much better when you can get actual little teeny wings], fake lasagna [because we had all that ricotta]—which I made by layering radiators with the contents of the open bottle of pasta sauce, dotting each layer with ricotta, and sprinkling the end of the pre-grated mozzarella on top—and a faux Chinese hot pot recipe from Eating Well because we could throw it in the slow cooker [and because I had leftover turnips and this did right by them]. Oh, and we made another batch of bread. And cookies. There, that feels like a lot, right? It felt like a lot then.
